X-code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your news in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing.


URL Hyperlinking

If you want to include the X-code, you may simply surround the address with [url] tags as shown below. (The X-code tags are shown in blue).

You can include true hyperlinks using the [url] tag. Just use the following format:

[url]http://www.azsromania.org[/url]

This will produce a hyperlink like this: http://www.azsromania.org

Email Links

You can also use X-code tags to specify an email address, like this:

[email]myname@domain.com[/email]

This will produce a hyperlink like this: myname@domain.com

You can make text bold, underlined or italicized by simply surrounding your text with tags as shown below:

• [b] 1234567890[/b] == 1234567890
• [u] 1234567890[/u] == 1234567890
• [i] 1234567890[/i] == 1234567890

You can create bulleted or ordered lists in the following way:

Unordered, bulleted list:

[list]
[*] one
[*] two
[/list]

This produces:

• one
• two

You can also just use [*] for single bullets

To include a picture or graphic within the body of your message, you can simply surround the address of the image as shown here:

[img]http://www.azsromania.org/images/logo.jpg[/img]

Note that the http:// part of the image URL is required for the [img] code.
